PAPER PLANES | THE BLACK BOX
It started with a cocktail.
On a quiet November evening, Sam and Mark made a modern classic: The Paper Plane. That drink led to a night of scribbling chords on a whiteboard and creating loose melodies. Then the work began.
Joe picked up a 7-string and layered guitars while Brandon hammered down drums. Some friends added gang vocals and another masterfully weaved in a violin. All of us with the riff stuck in our heads. It took us 29 iterations and nearly seven months, but all of those elements have now been penned in to a single master: Paper Planes.
And we're just getting started.
